You're stranded on a desert island. The upside? You have a fancy solar-powered ipod that can play video. The downside? You can only choose five episodes (maximum of one hour in length) from five different TV shows.
There are rules: choosing an episode that's only a half-hour long doesn't allow you any more room, and you can't give up one show to make room for a two-parter from another. You have to choose five different shows, and you're only allowed one episode from each.

I gave it up. I really wanted to photoshop the pictures before uploading, but there's no way on earth I'll ever manage that. So, in order not to wait any longer to see them at all, you'll have to deal with bad compositions, blurred images, low contrast and pale colours. Sorry. -.-"

I have already mentioned that japanese insects are usually a bit a lot larger than what we know from european areas. Cockroaches, beetles, mosquitos - all monsters.^^;;;

Now, do you know the word セミ (semi)? Well, it's japanese for cicada. Those insects that make cricket-like noises in the morning.

Another thing to freak me out about Japan: everything is thinner here, tissues, toiletpaper, towels, ... you name it. You just want to ask all the time: ok, and where is the rest of the fabric???

Another thing that gave me an OMG!!!11! I LOVE THIS COUNTRY moment: where else do you have to stand in line to find nice people in uniform standing there just for the purpose to tell you where you can still find free space to park your bike (on a specially marked bicycle parking space).
(Oh, and btw yes: this one means that I do have a bicycle now.^^)


In other news, my brother send me a new DVD with the mentioned episodes of Grey's Anatomy, so I'm finally able to watch it. But first I'll better go and buy a wagon-load of tissues...
